Company of Heroes: Gold Edition
Take command of your company and lead your men to victory through the war-torn fields of France. Company of Heroes Gold edition contains both the original award-winning real-time combat simulation game as well as the stand-alone expansion, Opposing Forces. Lead American, British or German company-sized units from D-Day through France and into the Netherlands. Fight through hedgerows, farms and cities. The environment has been crafted to take damage appropriate to the weapons and the units' AI is smart enough to seek cover, or take advantage of a newly created hole in a building. Take cover in an abandoned house, or destroy it around your enemy's troops with cannon fire or satchel charges. Take control of specific points on the map to acquire resources. Defend and connect these points to provide a clear line of communication back to your HQ or your supply line will be disrupted. Use the resources to upgrade your units or add specialist units and weapons. Set up minefields and strongpoints to disrupt enemy counterattacks and zoom in or out of the battlefield as the action happens to direct your forces. Play with a friend, or take on the Germans in single-player campaign mode. Pieces of buildings, vehicles and bodies hurtle away from the destructive forces that are unleashed. You must take - and hold - your objective in order to achieve victory!
